IDENTIFIKASI KOMPOSISI VEGETASI MANGROVE DI PESISIR EKAS BUANA KABUPATEN LOMBOK TIMUR SEPTEMBER 2018

Abstract

Kawasan mangrove di beberapa wilayah di pulau Lombok mengalami penurunan kuantitas dan kualitas. Permasalahan tersebut disebabkan oleh faktor: pemanfaatan kawasan mangrove secara berlebihan, pengalihan fungsi, dan faktor alam. Pesisir Ekas Buana, Kabupaten Lombok Timur sebagai kawasan pemanfaatan sumberdaya alam dengan tujuan untuk kepentingan umum perikanan, memiliki luas ± 10 ha. Keterbatasan informasi ilmiah dan akurat akan mengakibatkan terjadinya pengelolaan yang tidak efektif, sehingga hasilnya akan merusak ekosistem mangrove yang ada. Tujuan penelitian untuk mengetahui: 1) Jenis mangrove di pesisir ekas buana? 2) Jenis mangrove yang mendominasi di pesisir ekas buana dan 3) Jenis mangrove yang memiliki indeks nilai penting paling tinggi di pesisir ekas buana?. Untuk mengidentifikasi jenis digunakan buku identifikasi mangrove. Untuk indeks keanekaragaman dan nilai penting mangrove di pesisir ekas buana dianalisis dengan formulasi Indeks keanekaragaman. Hasil Penelitian mendapatkan 12 (dua belas) jenis. Total keseluruhan tingkat semai mencapai 28.000 batang/ha, tingkat pancang 13.760 batang/ha dan tingkat pohon 445 batang/ha. Jenis Rhizophora stylosa memiliki indeks nilai penting paling tinggi, dan indeks nilai penting paling rendah diduduki oleh jenis Ceriops decandra

ABSTRACT

The Mangrove area in some areas on the island of Lombok has decreased in both quantity and quality. These problems are mainly caused by factors: excessive exploitation, functional changes, and natural factors. The coastal ekas buana district Lombok Timur as area excessive sources white purpose of fisheries public importance which has an area of ± 10 ha. Lack of accurate and scientific information will result in ineffective management, so the result would damage the existing mangrove ecosystem. The purpose research to find out 1) species of mangroves ekas buana coastal? 2) dominate species of mangrove in ekas buana coastal ? and 3) species the highest Important Value Index of mangroves in ekas buana coastal?. To identify the mangrove type the researcher used mangrove identification books. For the Diversity Index and the Important Value Index of mangroves in ekas buana coastal researcher utilized the diversity index formulations. The research results showed 12 (twelve) types of mangroves exist. Seedlings total reaches 28,000 stems/ha, 13,760 saplings stems/ha and tree level 445 stems/ha. Rhizophora stylosa has the highest importance value index, and the lowest index occupied by the type of Ceriops decandra.
